Ways to Connect at Truth Bible Church:
There are five basic levels of commitment that are also the primary ways to connect and serve at Truth Bible Church. People who struggle to connect usually only attend the Sunday service, leave immediately afterwards, and expect everyone else to take the initiative. So remember that building relationships takes initiative and hard work on your part. Also remember that people have different schedules and are at different maturity levels, so overall we urge you to be faithful to your current commitment level. As you grow, prioritize spiritual things, and increase your spiritual commitments and responsibilities, please be sure to keep the Lord and your family in the proper balance.
Level 1 - Corporate Worship: Faithful and consistent attendance and participation at the weekly worship service (Sundays 10:00a) is one of the most important commitments and priorities that you can make. Think about how exciting it would be if everyone in the church was faithful and consistent in their attendance. We will also try to plan a monthly fellowship event/family activity for the whole church where people can fellowship and build relationships.
Level 2 - Small Group Bible Studies: Faithful and consistent attendance and participation at a small group Bible Study (Currently Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship Class and the Wed. & Thurs. Night Bible Studies) is important in breaking the church down under specific Elders for effective shepherding and oversight.
Level 3 - Men’s, Women’s, Children’s, and Youth Ministries: The weekly Women's Bible Study (“Women of Truth”), Youth Group (“Tremble”), bi-weekly Men’s Accountability (“Faithful Men”), and Children’s Ministry (“TruthQuest”) provide Bible teaching, accountability, and fellowship that are important aids to our spiritual growth.
Level 4 - 1-to-1 Discipleship: Faithful and consistent attendance and homework with a spiritual mentor in a 1 to 1 Discipleship/mentor relationship is one of the best ways to grow in the Lord.
Level 5 - Leadership Training/Weekly Evangelism: Faithful and consistent attendance and participation in evangelism outreaches (usually Saturday night or Sunday afternoon) or our Leadership Development night (Sunday nights) is where we believe we will identify our future leaders and be able to develop future leaders.
