Our prayer ministry is carried out in many ways and at various times:
1. Our worship service, specifically the first half hour, is a time to worship God through music and prayer. We also ask our people to fill out a "Connection Card" each week that affords them the opportunity to write down their praises and prayer requests. These requests are then collected and published each week in what we call the weekly TBC "Prayer Notes" that are distributed through email and posted on our website (but only viewed by password by our members).
2. Our Wednesday/Thursday Night Bible Studies specifically focus on praying for unsaved friends, family members, and neighbors to be saved. We are asking God to grow our church through new people being saved and "added to our number" like in the book of Acts. We really encourage our people to commit to Thursday Nights so that a core team is formed that really makes prayer a priority in our church so that our confidence and power that we depend on, hope in, and trust in is God alone. We believe by faith that through prayer God is going to do great things in and through us.
3. Our leadership team meets every Tuesday Night and dedicates the first part of their meeting to praying for the people of TBC and the praises/petitions they share each week through the weekly Prayer Notes.
4. One of our goals is to train and equip our people to personally be "Constant in Prayer." This is derived from 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ("pray without ceasing") and Colossians 4:2 ("Devote yourselves to Prayer").
